Hello, I'm Cody
I was born in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon. I’m a commercial pilot by trade and love to travel, which is how I discovered my passion for photography. I started taking pictures of the places I visited so I could share them with the people closest to me. I found it’s the people and history that make each place I visit so unique and inspiring. Traveling has been a big part of my life and is how I met my loving wife. Over time, I realized that photography was more than just a hobby - it was a way to capture the essence and feeling of the places I visited.
As I began to experiment with portrait photography, I realized that the same principles applied. Just as I try to capture the feeling of a place in my landscape photography, I aim to capture the essence of the people I photograph. Whether it’s a family portrait or an individual headshot, my goal is to create images that convey the personality and character of my subjects.
I’m excited to continue exploring new places and meeting new people through photography. It's so special to have a good story to share, but it’s even better to have a photograph to go with it!
